Rawh ibn 'Ubadah narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Sayyar narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not conduct sales by casting pebbles, do not engage in najash (false bidding to raise prices), and do not conduct sales by touching. Whoever among you buys a muhaffalah (an animal whose milk was left to accumulate in its udder to deceive the buyer) and dislikes it, let him return it along with a sa' (measure) of food."
