قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ وَعَنْ بُسْر

ِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَعَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْعَصْرَ وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the 'Asr prayer before the sun sets has caught the 'Asr, and whoever catches one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer before the sun rises has caught the Fajr."
