حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّ

مَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِقَتَادَةَ مَا السَّامُ قَالَ الْمَوْتُ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "This black seed is a cure for every ailment except as-sam." Shu'bah said: "I asked Qatadah: 'What is as-sam?' He said: 'Death.'"
