Chain of Narration (Isnad)
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فَلَه
Body (Matn)
ُ قِيرَاطٌ فَإِنْ اتَّبَعَهَا حَتَّى تُوضَعَ فِي الْقَبْرِ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ مَا الْقِيرَاطُ قَالَ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever prays over a funeral, he is credited with a qirat. And whoever follows it until it is buried, he is credited with two qirats." It was asked: "What are the two qirats?" He said: "Like two great mountains."
