حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِي

دَ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَيَحْضُرُ بِهَا الشَّيْطَانُ وَحَسَدُ ابْنِ آدَمَ

English Translation
Ibn Numayr narrated to us, who said: Thawr — meaning Ibn Yazid — narrated to us from Makhul, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The evil eye is real, and Shaytan attends it along with the envy of the son of Adam.'
