English Translation

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, who said: Hajjaj — meaning Ibn Dinar — informed us from Ja'far ibn Iyas, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mas'ud, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with al-Hasan and al-Husayn — one on this shoulder and one on that shoulder — kissing this one and then that one, until he reached us. A man said to him: O Messenger of Allah, you really love them! He ﷺ said: Whoever loves them has loved me, and whoever hates them has hated me.'
