Arabic Text
وَإِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو رَزِينٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَ
بَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ بِهِ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ عَلَيْهِ بُرْدَانِ فَقُلْتُ لِشُعْبَةَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِ فَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ يَقُولُ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْكَلْبِ يَلَغُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ

English Translation
And [the Prophet ﷺ said]: 'When a dog laps in the vessel of one of you, let him wash it seven times.' Shu'bah said: Sulayman narrated to me, and Abu Razin narrated to me, who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrating this hadith in this very mosque about the dog, and he said: 'The first of them [the washings should be] with earth.'
