حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَ
يْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَا خَيْرُ الشُّرَكَاءِ مَنْ عَمِلَ لِي عَمَلًا أَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ وَهُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ

English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from Shu'bah, who said: al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said — meaning Allah (عز وجل) said: 'I am the best of partners. Whoever does a deed in which he associates others with Me, I am free of it, and it belongs to the one whom he associated.'
