حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الَّذِي يَطْعَنُ نَفْسَهُ إِنَّمَا يَطْعَنُهَا فِي النَّارِ وَالَّذِي يَتَقَحَّمُ فِيهَا يَتَقَحَّمُ فِي النَّارِ وَالَّذِي يَخْنُقُ نَفْسَهُ يَخْنُقُهَا فِي النَّارِ
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us from Ibn 'Ajlan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The one who stabs himself will be stabbing himself in the Fire, and the one who throws himself into it will be throwing himself into the Fire, and the one who strangles himself will be strangling himself in the Fire.'
