English Translation

Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id narrated to me, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that he heard him saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Indeed a servant speaks a word that pleases Allah and he does not give it much consideration, and Allah raises him by it several levels. And indeed a servant speaks a word that angers Allah and he does not give it much consideration, and it causes him to fall into Jahannam.'
