الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ شَرُّ الطَّعَامِ طَعَامُ الْعُرْسِ يُطْعَمُهُ الْأَغْنِيَاءُ وَيُمْنَعُهُ الْمَسَاكِينُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُجِبْ فَقَدْ عَصَى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

English Translation

Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Tufawi narrated to us, Ayyub narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: 'The worst food is the food of a wedding feast to which the rich are invited and the poor are excluded. And whoever does not respond to an invitation has disobeyed Allah and His Messenger.'
