English Translation
Ishaq ibn 'Isa narrated to us, Jarir, meaning Ibn Hazim, narrated to us, from al-Zubayr ibn al-Khirrit, from 'Ikrimah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ judged that the fetus [killed by injury to a pregnant woman] requires a ghurrah — a male or female slave. Then the woman against whom it was judged died, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that her inheritance goes to her sons and her husband, and that the blood money is upon her male relatives ('asabah).
