Hajjaj narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj said: Ziyad ibn Sa'd informed me that Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, informed him that he heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) saying: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who supplicates for him.'
