حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُو

لُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ أَنْ يَجِدَ فِيهِ ثَلَاثَ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ لَثَلَاثُ آيَاتٍ يَقْرَؤُهُنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ

English Translation

Waki' narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned a hadith and then said: 'Would any of you like that when he returns to his family he finds three great pregnant she-camels?' They said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Three verses that one of you recites in his prayer are better for him than three great pregnant she-camels.'
