قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَجَدْتُ هَذَيْنِ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْص
َارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقَدَّمُوا الشَّهْرَ يَعْنِي رَمَضَانَ بِيَوْمٍ وَلَا يَوْمَيْنِ إِلَّا أَنْ يُوَافِقَ ذَلِكَ صَوْمًا كَانَ يَصُومُهُ أَحَدُكُمْ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَعُدُّوا ثَلَاثِينَ ثُمَّ أَفْطِرُوا

English Translation
'Abd Allah said: I found these two hadiths in my father's book in his handwriting. Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah al-Ansari narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If it were not difficult for my ummah, I would have ordered them to delay the 'Isha prayer and to use the siwak with every prayer.'
