English Translation

Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Thawban, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you comes to the gathering, let him give salam, and when he wishes to leave, let him give salam. The first is not more deserving than the last.'
