English Translation

Muhammad ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Sim'an, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: 'The people have abandoned three practices that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do: When he (ﷺ) stood for prayer, he would raise his hands opposite his shoulders. And he would remain silent for a while after the opening takbir. And he would say takbir when prostrating and when rising.'
