حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ لَمَّا حَضَرَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ لَا تُتْبِعُونِي بِمِجْمَرٍ وَأَسْرِعُوا بِي فَإِنِّي سَم
ِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا وُضِعَ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ أَسْرِعُوا بِي وَإِذَا وُضِعَ الْكَافِرُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ قَالَ وَيْلَاهُ أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِي

English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from al-Maqburi, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Mihran, who said: When death approached Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), he said: 'Do not follow my funeral with a lit censer.' And he said: 'Hurry with me, for indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the believer is placed on his bier, he says: Bring me forward! And when the disbeliever is placed on his bier, he says: Woe to me! Where are you taking me?'
