Hadith #259

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَنْ
أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ النَّارَ فِي هِرٍّ أَوْ هِرَّةٍ رَبَطَتْهَا فَلَا هِيَ أَطْعَمَتْهَا وَلَا هِيَ أَرْسَلَتْهَا تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى مَاتَتْ فِي رِبَاطِهَا هَزْلًا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad informed us, from Musa ibn Yasar, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), and from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you will be saved by his deeds.' They said: 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Not even me, unless Allah encompasses me with mercy from Him and grace.'
