Hadith #258
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمِينُ اللَّهِ مَلْأَى لَا يَغِيضُهَا نَفَقَةٌ س
َحَّاءُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَقَالَ أَرَأَيْتَكُمْ مَا أَنْفَقَ مُنْذُ خَلَقَ السَّمَاءَ وَالْأَرْضَ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَغِضْ مَا فِي يَمِينِهِ قَالَ وَعَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ بِيَدِهِ الْأُخْرَى الْمِيزَانُ يَخْفِضُ وَيَرْفَعُ
English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad informed us, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The Right Hand of Allah is full, and no amount of spending diminishes it, overflowing night and day. Do you see what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? Yet it has not diminished what is in His Right Hand. His Throne is over the water, and in His other hand is the Scale, which He lowers and raises.'
