حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَغَرّ
ِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَفَتْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَكْتُبُونَ الْأَوَّلَ فَالْأَوَّلَ فَمَثَلُ الْمُهَجِّرِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِي يُهْدِي بَدَنَةً ثُمَّ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي بَقَرَةً ثُمَّ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي كَبْشًا ثُمَّ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي دَجَاجَةً ثُمَّ كَالَّذِي يُهْدِي بَيْضَةً فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ وَقَعَدَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ طَوَوْا صُحُفَهُمْ وَجَلَسُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْرَ

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Abdullah al-Agharr, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'On the day of Friday, the angels stand at the doors of the masjid recording who comes first, then who comes next. The one who comes earliest is like the one who sacrifices a camel, then like the one who sacrifices a cow, then a sheep, then a chicken, then an egg. When the imam comes out, they roll up their scrolls and listen to the reminder.'
