حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْرَضَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَعِيرًا فَجَاءَ يَتَقَاضَاهُ بَعِيرَهُ فَقَالَ
اطْلُبُوا لَهُ بَعِيرًا فَادْفَعُوهُ إِلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا إِلَّا سِنًّا فَوْقَ سِنِّهِ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمْ نَجِدْ إِلَّا سِنًّا فَوْقَ سِنِّ بَعِيرِهِ فَقَالَ أَعْطُوهُ فَإِنَّ خِيَارَكُمْ أَحَاسِنُكُمْ قَضَاءً

English Translation
Yazid narrated to us, Sufyan al-Thawri informed us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ borrowed a camel from a man, then a camel came to him. He said: 'Give him his camel back.' They searched but found only one older and better than his. He (ﷺ) said: 'Give it to him, for the best of people are those who are best in repaying.'
