English Translation
Ibn Abi Adiyy narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Taymi, from Abu al-Salil, from Abu Hassan, who said: Two of my sons died. I said to Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه): 'Have you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ anything that would console us regarding our deceased?' He said: 'Yes. Their little ones are the roaming birds of Paradise. One of them meets his father—or his parents—and takes hold of his garment—or his hand—just as I take hold of the hem of your garment, and does not let go until Allah admits him and his father into Paradise.'
