English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abi Hafsah narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Hanzalah ibn Ali al-Aslami, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if you remained in the state you are in when you are with me, remembering Allah, the angels would shake hands with you in your beds and on your paths. But O Hanzalah, there is a time for this and a time for that'—three times.
