English Translation
Rawh narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A good deed is rewarded tenfold. Fasting is for Me and I will reward it. The leaving of one's food and desire for My sake—the fasting person has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. And the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the fragrance of musk.'
