English Translation
Uthman ibn Umar narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah curse the Jews and the Christians. They took the graves of their prophets as places of worship.' He (Abu Hurayrah) said: 'Were it not for that, his grave would have been made prominent, but it was feared it would be taken as a place of worship.'
