Hadith #522
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ رَقِيَ إِلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَة
َ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَوَجَدَهُ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَرَفَعَ فِي عَضُدَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيَّ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ هِيَ الْغُرُّ الْمُحَجَّلُونَ مِنْ أَثَرِ الْوُضُوءِ مَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يُطِيلَ غُرَّتَهُ فَلْيَفْعَلْ لَا أَدْرِي مِنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ مِنْ قَوْلِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated: Nu'aym ibn 'Abdullah went up to Abu Hurayrah on the roof of the mosque and found him performing wudu. He raised his arms up to his upper arms, then he came to him and said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: My ummah will be called on the Day of Resurrection with bright marks from the traces of wudu. So whoever among you can extend his brightness, let him do so.'
