English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated: Marwan used to appoint him as his deputy over the prayer when he went for Hajj or 'Umrah. He would pray with the people, and whenever he recited the name of Allah and His Messenger in the qunut supplication, he would make du'a for 'Umar ibn al-Khattab and the early Muslims. He would never omit du'a for the Mothers of the Believers from his qunut.
