حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قَالُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ فَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هَكَذَا وَجَدْتُ فِي أَصْلِ ذَلِكَ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: La ilaha illa Allah [There is no god but Allah]. If they say it, their blood and wealth are protected from me except by its right, and their reckoning is with Allah عز وجل.'
