حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَ

نْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا تَأْتُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْعَوْنَ وَأْتُوهَا وَعَلَيْكُمْ السَّكِينَةُ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا فَاتَكُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ فِي صَلَاةٍ مَا كَانَ يَعْمِدُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

English Translation

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the iqamah is called for prayer, do not come to it running. Come to it walking with tranquility. Whatever you catch, pray, and whatever you miss, complete.'
