حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ يَعْنِي الْمُعَلِّمَ عَنْ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمُطَّلِبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حَنْطَبٍ الْمَخْزُومِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَتَوَضَّأُ
مِنْ طَعَامٍ أَجِدُهُ حَلَالًا فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِأَنَّ النَّارَ مَسَّتْهُ قَالَ فَجَمَعَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ حَصًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ عَدَدَ هَذَا الْحَصَى لَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّئُوا مِمَّا مَسَّتْ النَّارُ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The people of Madinah will be abandoned at the best it has ever been. No one comes to it who desires it except that the wild beasts and birds of prey gather there. The last to be gathered will be two shepherds from Muzaynah heading toward Madinah, driving their sheep. They will find it deserted, and when they reach Thaniyyat al-Wada', they will fall on their faces.'
