حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ وَسُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا عَنْ

أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَخْطُبْ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى خِطْبَةِ أَخِيهِ وَلَا يَسْتَمْ عَلَى سِيمَةِ أَخِيهِ

English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A man should not propose marriage over the proposal of his brother, nor should he offer a price over his brother's price.'
