English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: 'Ammar ibn Abi 'Ammar informed us, he said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) say: I heard Abu al-Qasim (ﷺ) say: 'People are like mines of gold and silver. The best of them in the Jahiliyyah are the best of them in Islam, when they attain understanding. And souls are enlisted soldiers: those that recognize each other become friends, and those that do not recognize each other remain apart.'
