Arabic Text
قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ فِيهِ سَاعَةٌ
لَا يُوَافِقُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ وَأَشَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ يُقَلِّلُهَا

English Translation
He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i recited to 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik — and Ishaq narrated to us, Malik informed us — from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not single out Friday night for standing in prayer from among the nights, and do not single out Friday for fasting from among the days, unless it falls within a fast that one of you regularly observes.'
