He (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that i recited to 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik — and Ishaq narrated to us, Malik informed us — from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If any of you leads the people in prayer, let him keep it brief, for among them are the young, the elderly, the weak, and the sick. And if he prays alone, let him pray as long as he wishes.'
