English Translation
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Let not a city-dweller sell on behalf of a desert-dweller. Do not engage in najash [bidding up prices without intent to buy]. Let not a man sell over the sale of his brother, nor propose marriage over the proposal of his brother. And let not a woman ask for the divorce of her sister [co-wife] to take her place.'
