English Translation
Ya'la ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, Muhammad, meaning Ibn Ishaq, narrated to us, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The izar of the Muslim should reach to mid-shin. There is no sin in what is between that and the ankles. What is below the ankles is in the Fire. And whoever drags his izar out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.'
