حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ جَاءَ يَهُودِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ ضُرِبَ فِي وَجْه
ِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ضَرَبَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَضَّلَ مُوسَى عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُفَضِّلُوا بَعْضَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَإِنَّ النَّاسَ يُصْعَقُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَأَكُونُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ التُّرَابِ فَأَجِدُ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام عِنْدَ الْعَرْشِ لَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ فِيمَنْ صُعِقَ أَمْ لَا

English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us who said: I heard 'Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini narrating from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: A Jew came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whose face had been struck and said: O Muhammad, a man from your Companions from the Ansar struck my face. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Call him.' They called him. He said: 'Why did you strike his face?' He said: O Messenger of Allah, I passed by the Jew and heard him say: By the One who chose Musa over all people. I said: Even over Muhammad ﷺ? I became angry and struck him. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Do not give preference among the Prophet ﷺs, for indeed the people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, and I will be the first to regain consciousness. And there will be Musa holding onto the side of the Throne. I do not know whether he was among those who fell unconscious and recovered before me, or was among those whom Allah exempted.'
