English Translation

Yunus narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Yazid — meaning Ibn al-Had — from Yuhannas, the freed slave of Mus'ab ibn al-Zubayr, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: While we were traveling with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a man came on a mount of his. He began looking right and left. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever has an extra mount, let him give it to one who has no mount. And whoever has extra provisions, let him give them to one who has no provisions.' He mentioned various types of wealth until we thought that none of us had any right to surplus.
