English Translation

Harun ibn Ma'ruf narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, 'Amr informed me, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri, from his father, that he complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the hardship he experienced in Madinah and the difficulty of living there. the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Be patient, for you will not leave Madinah desiring to go elsewhere except that Madinah will be better for you. No one is patient with the hardship and difficulty of Madinah except that I will be an intercessor — or witness — for him on the Day of Resurrection.'
