حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ أَصَبْنَا سَبْيًا يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَجَعَلْنَا نَعْزِلُ عَنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ نُرِيدُ الْفِدَاءَ فَقَالَ ب
َعْضُنَا لِبَعْضٍ تَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ الْوَلَدُ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَمْنَعْهُ شَيْءٌ

English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: We captured female prisoners on the day of Hunayn, and we practiced coitus interruptus ('azl) with them while desiring their ransom. We asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: 'You do that? There is no soul that is destined to exist until the Day of Resurrection except that it will come into existence.'
