English Translation
Muhammad ibn Rabi'ah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, meaning Ibn 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who causes an animal to suffer [by mutilating it or harming it unnecessarily].
