حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَكَ وَخَيْبَرَ قَالَ فَفَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ فَدَكَ وَخَيْبَرَ فَوَقَعَ النَّاسُ فِي بَقْلَةٍ لَهُمْ هَذَا الثُّومُ وَالْبَصَلُ قَالَ فَرَاحُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدَ رِيحَهَا فَتَأَذَّى بِ
هِ ثُمَّ عَادَ الْقَوْمُ فَقَالَ أَلَا لَا تَأْكُلُوهُ فَمَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَجْلِسَنَا قَالَ وَوَقَعَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فِي لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ وَنَصَبُوا الْقُدُورَ وَنَصَبْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ نَصَبَ فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ فَأُكْفِئَتْ الْقُدُورُ فَكَفَأْتُ قِدْرِي فِيمَنْ كَفَأَ

English Translation
Yunus narrated to us, Hammad, meaning Ibn Zayd, narrated to us, Bishr ibn Harb narrated to us, I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) narrate, saying: We went out on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ against Fadak. When we arrived, the Prophet ﷺ sent us to a date garden. We found some dates and ate them. the Prophet ﷺ came to us while we were eating and said: 'Did I not tell you not to eat anything until I give you permission?' Then he said: 'Indeed, the worldly life is green and sweet, and whoever takes it with its right will be blessed in it. But how many people take it without its right; for them it is like the one who eats but is never satisfied.'
