حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لِبْسَتَيْنِ وَعَنْ بَيْعَتَيْنِ اللِّمَاسِ وَالنِّبَاذِ
English Translation
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from 'Ata' ibn Yazid al-Laythi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited two types of clothing and two types of transactions: as for the two types of clothing, he prohibited a man from wrapping himself in a single garment without covering his private parts, and from wearing his garment in the ishtimal al-samma' [wrapping one shoulder and leaving the other bare with no covering below]. As for the two transactions, he prohibited mulamasah [touching a garment to finalize a sale] and munabadhah [throwing a garment to finalize a sale].
