English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Amr informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited al-muhaqalah [selling standing grain for harvested grain] and al-muzabanah [selling dates on the tree for dried dates]. Al-muhaqalah is leasing land [for a share of its produce], and al-muzabanah is selling dates on the palm for dried dates by measure.
