حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَوْ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَدِمْنَا مَعَ
رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَصْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ صُرَاخًا فَلَمَّا طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ قَالَ اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ أَحْرَمْنَا بِالْحَجِّ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) — or from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — who said: We arrived with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ [in Makkah] proclaiming the talbiyah for Hajj. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to make it an 'Umrah and said: 'Had I known at the beginning what I know now, I would not have brought a sacrificial animal, and I would have made it an 'Umrah.'
