حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَوْ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الل
َّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشْتَكَى فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ وَعَيْنٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ

English Translation
'Affan narrated to us, Wuhayb narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه) — or from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنه) — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became ill, and Jibril (عليه السلام) performed ruqyah on him and said: 'In the Name of Allah, I perform ruqyah for you, from every soul or envious eye that harms you. May Allah heal you. In the Name of Allah, I perform ruqyah for you.'
