English Translation
Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, Isma'il — meaning Ibn Abi Khalid — narrated to us, from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed the people of the highest levels (in Paradise) will be seen by those beneath them as you see a brilliant star on the horizon of the sky. Abu Bakr and 'Umar are among them, and how excellent they are!'
