Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ هَيْبَةُ النَّاس

ِ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِحَقٍّ إِذَا رَآهُ أَوْ شَهِدَهُ أَوْ سَمِعَهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ سَمِعْتُهُ و قَالَ أَبُو نَضْرَةَ وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي لَمْ أَكُنْ سَمِعْتُهُ

English Translation

Yahya narrated to us, from al-Taymi, Abu Nadrah narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id (رضي الله عنه), from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'Let not the awe of people prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he sees it or knows it, for indeed it does not bring death closer or push provision further away.'
