حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَا

لَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْعَزْلِ فَقَالَ لَيْسَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ الْوَلَدُ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَمْنَعْهُ شَيْءٌ

English Translation

Umar ibn 'Ubayd narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Waddak, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about 'azl [coitus interruptus], and he said: "It is not from every water that a child is born. When Allah intends to create something, nothing can prevent Him."
